My love for the game.

I am grateful for the opportunity to help make the dugouts on the softball and baseball fields clean and nice looking. I have played baseball and softball with Metuchen Little League since I was four years old. I have grown up in the Metuchen Little League organization with my brother playing baseball and my parents volunteering in different positions.
Below are some pictures of the dugouts that my team helped me "beautiify."

Hoyer Field (softball) was the starting point for the dugout refresh. We started by cleaning and scrubbing off the dirt and chipped paint. We then removed al of the old signs and bubble gum stuck to the rafters (yuk!). Painting took some time, but a fresh coat of paint made all the differnece.

Hoyer Field is where softball is played at all levels. This include Metuchen Little League, Edgar Middle School, and the Metuchen High School JV team.

Fater Field is where baseball is played in Metuchen Little League. The snack bar and league club house is located next to this field.

The Girl Scout slogan, which has been used since 1912, is a reminder of the many ways girls can contribute positively to the lives of others.
